Itinerary:

Day 1: Tangier – Rif hills – Chefchaouen

You will meet our guide to at the airport or in the port to start the 12 days morocco tour from tangier  and then drive to Chefchaouen via the rif hills the road will take  around2.5 hours drive passing by beautiful charming villages builts on the top of the hills before arriving to the blue city.Overnight stay in a riad/hotel

Day 2 :  Chefchaouen  – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After the breakfast in the Riad our journey will start towards Volubilis  crossing Ouazan and other Rif villages, in Volubilis, we will stop to discover  the roman ruins and, learn about the archeological site of moroccan history, after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes  city  the 17 th century heritage where we will stop  for lunch and  hang around the historical huge walls of the medina ,Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail’s mausoluem.Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 3: Fes local guided tour

You will have a guided tour to discover the medina and the famous Souks of Fes and its narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets. The tour will includes olso a visit to the tanneries and the ceramic cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts.Overnight at hotel/riad..

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midélt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga desert

Pick up from the Riad at 8/9 am, and drive south to cross the Middle Atlas Mountains until you reach Ifrane, called the small Moroccan Switzerland because of its great resemblance to that country. One of the animals that once inhabited here was the Atlas lion, which is why it has become the symbol of the city and to which a stone statue has been dedicated in the center of it.You will take the opportunity to stop and take some photos. Afterwards we will cross the famous cedar forests and we will be able to admire the Great Cedar Gouraud, the largest cedar forest of the region and also to feed the hundreds of Gibraltar monkeys that lives in the area. Lunch in Midélt or Rich and there the landscape  becomes arid and full of spectacular geological formations and deep green valleys, such as the Ziz Valley. We will begin to see the typical architecture of adobe, palm trees, some old Kasbahs,arriving to Erfoud which is well known for minerals and fossils before arriving to Merzouga area, where you will sepnd the night in a beautiful desert hotel.

Day 5 : Merzouga area and the Camel trek

After breakfast we’ll start exploring the area, we will begin by visiting the village of black people originally from Mali to enjoy their music and the way they live.After that we will drive to Miffis Mines to explore how they work over there before getting behind the Dunes in a full desert with charming views. Before returning back to the hotel,after a cup of tea your local guides will teach you how to mount and dismount and other handy camel-related safety tips then you begin exploring the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi.Overnight at a berber tent.

Day 6 : Merzouga -Todgha Gorges – Dades Valley

We will make up early in the morning, to watch the best sunrise of your life, casting different shadows and colours,over the the sea of sand dunes, the highest in Morocco, before returning to our desert hotel.After breakfast,We will continue to Tinghir, and the stunning Todra Gorge the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco.The gorge, is a great spot for hiking and relaxing on the edge of the river,or sampling some local Berber delicacies.After lunch in the heart of the gorge, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley,where we will end our day,spending the night in a nice hotel,located on the ege of Dades valley.

Day 7: Dades valley – Rose valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast you will start the journey towards Kelaa Mgouna town well knows as the city of roses you May visit the fields where they grow them depends on the season , April / May but before that you will take the off-roading to the valley of Bouraghrar ,you will visit a nomadic family that still lives in caves.and then to Skoura palm graves , stop to visit the 17th century Kasbah called Amredil before continuing to Ouarzazate.Overnight stay in a riad/Hotel.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou – High atlas mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast you will visit to Atlas Studio corporation Then to the fortified town of Ait Ben Haddou,(declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987). In this spectacular Kasbah many  famous movies were filmed such as Gladiator (2000), Lerance de Arabia (1962), Sahara (2005), La Mummy (1999) …Lunch will be in the village before departing to Marrakech crossing the mountain pass of Tizi Ntichka with stops to take photos. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 9 : Marrakech local guided tour

You will have a guided tour to discover the most exotic places of Marrakech,the famous Jamaa El fna square, Majorelle Gardens, Saadianas Tombs with a stroll in the labyrinth of the narrow streets of the Medina amongst its famous Souks.Overnight at hotel/riad.

Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca:

After breakfast you will leave to Casablanca, which is the economic capital of Morocco and the larget city, where you will visit the only mosque open to non Muslims and the biggest in Morocco, before you check into you hotel.

Day 11: Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah:

After breakfast departure to Rabat, visit the capital of Morocco, the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, Kasbah Oudaya, in the afternoon you will continue to the city of Asilah to visit its beautiful white Medina.Overnight stay in a riad.hotel

Day 12: Asilah – Tangier:

After breakfast and transfer to the airport or port according to flight or boat schedule in Tangier, where your 12 days morocco tour from tangier ends.
