Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades valley
We will pick you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech to srart the 3 days from marrakech desert tour, and drive to Ouarzazate through the dramatic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass the highest major mountain pass in africa(2260m)over the High Atlas Mountains, appreciating the beauty ofthe landscape through Berber villages.Arriving at the famous Ait ben haddou kasbah, the largest one in Morocco and UNESCO World Eritage Site since 1987 where; we will have lunch before we continue on to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa” and along the (Road of the thousand Kasbahs) ,passing by Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city” known for the production of rose water roses and its annual festival ( May ),before arriving at Dades valley.Overnight at Hotel/Riad.
Day 2: Dades valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
After a morning breakfast, we’ll drive through the valley to see the amazing rock formation and take a break in one of the nice spot of the gorge, Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, we will see the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages with its palm groves overlooking the valley.Arriving at the todgha Gorge, you’ll walk under high red cliff raised up to (300m)at its narrowest point.Continuing on to Erfoud and Rissani lunch will be on the way afterwards, we’ll leave to Merzouga Sahara Desert on our arrival you will be welcomed by a hot cup of mint tea then you will be prepared for your camel trekking, After a traditional dinner under the stars, we will set up Berber tents for our night in the desert.
Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Ouarzazte – Marrakech
After waking up early in the morning to watch the best sunrise of your life and you will start casting different shadows and colours over the sea of sand dunes, the highest in Morocco, before returning to our desert hotel, have breakfast and then travel to Marrakech via the berber town of alnif , tazarine , stop in the berber town of nkob for lunch before crossing the anti atlas mountains passing by ouarazazte again and the tichka pass , arriving late time to Marrakech where your 3 days from marrakech desert tour ends.
