Itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades valley
We will pick you up from your hotel/riad to start your 5 days from Marrakech desert tour, and drive to, Ouarzazate through the dramatic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass the highest major mountain pass in africa(2260m)over the High Atlas Mountains, appreciating the beauty of the landscape through Berber villages.Arriving at the famous Ait ben Haddou Kasbah ,the largest one in Morocco and UNESCO World Eritage Site since 1987 where; we will have lunch before we continue on to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa” and along the (Road of the thousand Kasbahs) ,passing by Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city” known for the production of rose water roses and its annual festival ( May ),before arriving at Dades valley Overnight at Hotel/Riad.
Day 2: Dades valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
After a morning breakfast, we’ll drive through the valley to see the amazing rock formation and take a break in one of the nice spot of the gorge, Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, we will see the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages with its palm groves overlooking the valley.Arriving at the todgha Gorge, you’ll walk under high red cliff raised up to (300m)at its narrowest point.Continuing on to Erfoud and Rissani lunch will be on the way afterwards, we’ll leave to Sahara Desert of Merzouga on our arrival you will be welcomed by a hot cup of mint tea as a way of hospitaly.Overnight stay in a riad.
Day 3 : Merzouga desert and Camel trek
Today, we’ll start exploring the area, starting by the visit of Khamlia village, originally from Sudan to enjoy their music and the way they live.after that we will drive to Miffis Mines to explore how they work over there before getting behind the Dunes in a full desert with charming views where will sit for some tea with the berber bedouins Before returning back to the hotel,after a cup of tea your local guides will teach you how to mount and dismount and other handy camel-related safety tips then you begin exploring the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi.over night in a berber tent.
Day 4: Merzouga – Alnif – Ouarzazte – Ouarzazate
Waking up early in the morning, to watch the best sunrise of your life, you will start casting different shadows and colours over the sea of sand dunes, the highest in Morocco, before returning to our desert hotel, have breakfast and then travel to Ouarzazate via the berber town of alnif , tazarine , stop in the berber town of nkob for lunch before crossing the anti atlas and the Daraa valley, the longest in Morocco well knows for plenty forests of date trees , arriving Ouarazate late time.Overnight stay in a riad.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
