2 days tour from marrakech to zagora In this itinerary,you will be crossing the high atlas mountains, and visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben haddou.besides you will also visit the atlas studio in Ouarzazate.Note that this tour is not to the Sahara desert of Merzouga where the highest big sand dunes.This needs at least 3 days to visit.

Itinerary:

Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Zagora

We pick up at your hotel to start the 2 days tour from Marrakech to zagora, and drive to Ouarzazate through the Tizi n Tichka pass at (2260 m ) altitude, then we will stop to visit the best preserved Kasbah, of Ait Ben Haddou where many famous movies, have been filmed as such Gladiator, the Mummy and Game of thrones , …After lunch in the Kasbah we, will continue our route towards the Draa Valley via Ouarzazate the town well known as, (Holywood of Morocco ) since it has many Film studios, before we reach Zagora, the capital of the Drâa region. Once you arrive, your local guides will teach you how to mount and dismount and other handy camel-related safety tips before you get ready to ride you camels.Overnight will be in a berber tent in the heart of the sand dunes with some typical berber music.

Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After seeing the sunrise, you we’ll have breakfast and shower you will go back on camels to where you were dropped off and, then start our journey back to Marrakech …crossing the Draa Valley ,the longest valley in Morocco,and the Oasis of Tamnougalt, Agdez village where the camel caravanes, used to rest in the past time before continuing their way to the south carrying salt and returing back with gold and silver ,the last caravans were officially closed down during the French and Spanish Protectorates in 1933.You will continue back crossing again the high atlas mountains and the massive Tichka pass with stop along the way.Arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
